‘S. Control’

‘S. Control’ is a meditation on discipline — both the kind that binds us and the kind that shapes us. It is a journey through the quiet tensions between confinement and liberation, tradition and rebellion, order and chaos. Inspired by the structures we inherit and the ones we create, the collection seeks to unravel the threads that tether us while celebrating the beauty in their complexity.

Hand-stitched details and sculptural silhouettes tell stories of vulnerability and strength, set against a palette of blacks, whites and earthy tones that echo the light and shadow of the human spirit. Slavic embroidery, steeped in history, pays homage to heritage, while structured leather jackets and fur accents bring an edge of defiance. Printed mannequins, caught mid-drape, serve as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of time and the delicate boundaries of self-expression.

At its heart, ‘S. Control’ is about finding balance: between the weight of tradition and the pull of individuality, between the desire for freedom and the comfort of restraint. Collaborating with Maria Bahrim, the runway transforms into an otherworldly reflection, with mirrors and illusions creating a dreamscape that blurs the lines between the self and the structures that define it.

Elements of research were drawn from a deep connection to the band t.A.T.u., whose music evokes rebellion and longing, and from faith in the Orthodox Church, which brings structure and reflection to the creative practice. The works of Belgian artist Berlinde De Bruyckere, with their raw exploration of the human condition, influenced the sculptural silhouettes, while the haunting poem A Prayer (1965) by Yuli Daniel served as a literary anchor.

Presented by Fetchish Studio, this collection is more than fashion — it is a dialogue, an invitation to reflect on the ties that bind and the courage it takes to untie them.
